On Saturday, September 12, 2009, WPFG Studios held a great party at 501 Post to celebrate the passing of the Texas Film Incentives! Many wonderful people from the Austin film community were there (including Bleutuna Limited, Paul Alvarado-Dykstra with TXMPA, WPFG, Austin Film Tools, and many more!). The event was live broadcasted to the net and recorded AND edited on the spot. It was a great example of Austin’s talent hard at work even while having a party. There were some amazing music acts as well featuring KJ Hines, Dawn Over Zero, Mini Stylz, Mr. Beez, and Reno Perez. It was a fantastic night and of course, I took a ton of photos! Enjoy!
*Note: My goal tonight was to see if I could sort through 1400 photos, edit the ones I liked and get them out to the world same evening as the event. I may or may not one day go back and re-work some of them, but as I said, my goal was to get them out there. Sort of a pre-cursor to what I’ll be trying to accomplish for 8 days straight at Fantastic Fest!
